Bank of America 500 Picks

CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drives under the lights tonight for the Bank of America 500. Here is a look at some drivers to consider in this race.

View Current NASCAR Odds

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is favored to win the race, as he has 4/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon (5/1) and Brad Keselowski (13/2).

Here are some drivers we like today:

Joey Logano 10/1

Fresh off another win, Logano is showing his real championship potential. He is on top of the point standings and has five wins on the year, tied for the most of any driver. He has finished in the top 6 in 10 of the last 11 races. Logano is winless at this track with an average finish of 10.5, but he has a driver rating of 88.0 at Charlotte, which puts him ninth. Given his recent string, those numbers should only improve tonight as he contends for his sixth victory.

Matt Kenseth 17/1

Kenseth is right near the cut line, sitting in a tie for 7th place in the standings, 17 points behind Logano. It is hard to believe, but Kenseth is winless this year and in need of a spark to get his Championship run started. What better place to do it then Charlotte, as Kenseth has two wins and nine top 5s at this track. His driver rating at Charlotte is 97.1, which puts him fourth amongst the field tonight. Look for Kenseth to be aggressive and contend for the win.
