GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – The Arizona Cardinals look to bounce back from their first loss when they host the Washington Redskins on Sunday at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
Arizona is 3-1 on the season, 2-0 at home and 2-2 against the spread. Washington is 1-4 overall, 0-2 on the road and 2-3 against the point spread. Washington has won eight straight meetings with Arizona.

According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Arizona is the slight favorite at home, as the Cardinals are getting odds of -3 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the contest has yet to be set (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had Arizona favored by 2.5 points, but the spread quickly bumped to 3. The spread hasn’t been out long due to injury questions for Arizona’s quarterbacks.
Arizona is coming off a 41-20 loss to Denver on the road last week. Arizona had just 215 total yards in the game and allowed 568 total yards to the Broncos, including 476 passing yards. Drew Stanton suffered a concussion in the game and is questionable to play in this game while Carson Palmer is already doubtful with his nerve injury. If both can’t go, Logan Thomas is next up. He was just 1 for 8 for 81 yards and a touchdown against Denver. Andre Ellington has rushed for 238 yards and one touchdown to lead the offense while Tony Jefferson is leading the defense with 31 tackles and one sack.
Washington is coming off a 27-17 loss at home to Seattle. The Redskins have now lost three straight and things don’t seem to be getting better. Washington is posting 393.6 yards per game on offense while allowing just 340 yards per game on defense. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,217 yards and eight touchdowns this season, but also has five interceptions. Alfred Morris has rushed for 345 yards and three scores while DeSean Jackson has 20 catches for 364 yards and two touchdowns. The defense is led by Ryan Kerrigan, who has six sacks and 16 tackles.
In terms of Injuries, Washington cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) is out for this game while tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) is questionable. Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson (ankle) is questionable while cornerback Justin Bethel (shoulder) is probable.
