LINE MOVEMENT: The Bengals opened as 7-point favorites but the line for this game has fallen to 6.5 at most online and Vegas sports books, while the total opened at 41 and has climbed to 43.5 or 44, depending on the book.
SEASON RECORDS: The Panthers enter play with a 3-2 record and are 3-2 against the spread in 2014, while the Bengals are 3-1 on the year and 3-1 against the number, with their lone loss and failed cover coming a week ago in New England. The over is 3-2 in Carolina’s first five games but the under is 3-1 in the Bengals’ first four contests.
