The featured game of the day has the Dallas Stars hosting the Chicago Blackhawks at 8:35PM ET. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Blackhawks are favored on the road, as they have odds of -120 to prevail, while the Stars have a money line of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Chicago was 46-21-15 last season and 19-14-8 on the road. Dallas was 40-31-11 overall and 23-11-7 at home. Chicago has won eight of its last nine against Dallas and the two have went over the goal total in six of their last seven meetings.

Another game of note has the Minnesota Wild hosting the Colorado Avalanche at 9PM ET. The Oddsmakers have the Wild favored at home, as they have odds of -140 to win, while the Avalanche are getting odds of +120 to prevail. The over/under total for this game has been set at 5.5 goals. Colorado went 52-22-8 last year and 26-11-4 on the road while the Wild were 43-27-12 overall and 26-10-5 at home. Minnesota has won four of its last five against Colorado and the two have hit the over in three straight meetings.

Another game of note today has the St. Louis Blues hosting the New York Rangers at 8PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Blues favored at home, as they are getting odds of -160 to win, while the Rangers are getting odds of +140 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. New York was 45-31-6 last season and 25-14-2 on the road. St. Louis was 52-23-7 overall and 28-9-4 at home last year. The Blues have won seven of their last eight against the Rangers and the two have hit the under or pushed the total in four of their last five meetings.
