Will Texas Tech overcome Arkansas’ issues along the offensive line tonight in Memphis? Will the Mavericks avoid losing three straight games this season to the Suns? Read on for our Friday Cross-Sport Parlay.
Thursday Cross-Sport Parlay Recap
On Thursday, I had Jaxon Smith-Njigba to go over 72.5 receiving yards, the over to cash in the Arkansas State-Bowling Green bowl game and the Pacers to cover as 5.5-point underdogs versus the Thunder. In what turned out to be a sloppy, low-scoring snooze fest in Chicago, Smith-Njigba finished with only 32 receiving yards. It didn’t matter, however, as the Pacers also lost by six to OKC, which spoiled the over hitting in the bowl game.
NHL Friday Cross-Sport Parlay: Carolina Hurricanes (+105), 7:08 p.m. ET
The Hurricanes’ current road trip is off to a rocky start. While they did post a 3-1 victory at Madison Square Garden versus the Rangers, that win was sandwiched between losses to the Capitals in Washington and the Predators in Nashville. Still, the ‘Canes have won three out of their last five games overall and are a dominant 8-2 against the Devils in the previous 10 meetings between these two teams. While they did lose to the Devils in New Jersey last month, I’m banking on the holiday break doing wonders for Carolina.
NBA Friday Cross-Sport Parlay: Dallas Mavericks +1.5 (-110), 9:10 p.m. ET
The Mavericks have already lost twice to the Suns this season, including a 114-113 home defeat on November 8. That said, I’m willing to bet the Suns don’t beat the Mavs three straight times. In the last 10 meetings between these two teams, neither team has posted three consecutive wins in the series. The Mavs also enter play having won seven out of their last 10 games and covering in six of those contests. By comparison, the Suns are just 4-6 straight up in their last 10 games and have dropped seven out of their last 10 at the betting window.
CFB Friday Cross-Sport Parlay: Texas Tech -2.5 (-110), 7:00 p.m. ET
Arkansas is missing a ton of its talent. The offensive line had multiple starters enter the transfer portal, along with a handful of backups as well. When right, the Hogs can throw the ball – especially against bad defenses like the one Texas Tech will bring to Memphis, TN tonight. However, Tech’s defensive struggles should be negated by Arkansas’ inability to protect the quarterback. I envision the Red Raiders settling in on offense and moving the ball more consistently than the Razorbacks.
