INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indiana cannot afford any more missteps.
After losing last weekend’s Big Ten opener to Maryland, coach Kevin Wilson and the Hoosiers spent this week looking for solutions. They need the offense to improve and the defense to do a better job of tackling.
The game against North Texas (2-2, 0-1 Conference USA) on Saturday won’t necessarily be easy for the Hoosiers (2-2, 0-1).
North Texas’ defense already has registered 18 sacks, forced a turnover in every game this season and allowed only 89 total points.
For an offense that looked out of sync last weekend, that’s a huge challenge — one Wilson believes the Hoosiers can overcome if they can get back in rhythm.
