Will the Patriots rebound tonight?

FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – The Patriots are coming off an embarrassing MNF loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Will the Patriots rebound or are the Bengals the right play as slight road favorites?

The Patriots head home to host the Bengals tonight on “Sunday Night Football.”  The Patriots are 2-2 this season, while the Bengals are 3-0. The Bengals come in hot as they are 3-0 ATS this season, while New England is 1-3 ATS.

The Patriots couldn’t have looked worse on Monday Night Football but I like their chances to rebound.  It’s easy to make a case for the Bengals as they are coming off a bye week and the Pats are coming off a Monday night game, but it’s never that easy in the NFL.  The Bengals aren’t just going to run through the season covering the spread every week and they are due for an ATS loss.

The Patriots, although as ugly as they looked versus the Chiefs, are still capable of hanging with any team in the NFL with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick calling the shots.  New England has won 10 straight in Foxborough going 7-3 ATS in that span and proving they are a money making team on their home field.  This is one of those games that often times buries bettors as all the media attention is on the Patriots and how bad they are, but their season is far from over.  Look for Brady and the Pats to be ready for the Bengals and thus, take the Patriots.
