Will Seahawks cover vs. Cowboys?
SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – The Dallas Cowboys head to Seattle as road dogs as Pete Carroll and the Seahawks are coming off a short week. Is Seattle overvalued as an 8.5 point favorite?

The 4-1 Cowboys are coming off an overtime win over the Texans while the 3-1 Seahawks are coming off a 10 point win over Washington on Monday Night Football. The Cowboys are riding a four-game winning streak but Seattle has won two in a row and are as tough as it gets on their home field.
The Seahawks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings versus Dallas, but have covered the last two meetings. Don’t read too much into that ATS trend because I expect Seattle to cover this spread fairly easy. The Cowboys are 2-0 on the road, but those wins have come against St. Louis and Tennessee who have a combined record of 2-7 this season.
Quarterback Tony Romo will have to play virtually mistake free football to keep the Cowboys close and although he’s only thrown two INTs since the season opener versus the 49ers I just don’t see that happening.
Before the season started I anticipated the Seahawks to come out a little flat, but they have just so many ways they can beat you. Quarterback Russell Wilson was definitely impressive versus the Redskins on Monday night and there’s no reason to think he wouldn’t have another solid performance versus Dallas. Seattle is on a 6-2 ATS run when listed as the favorite at home and look for them to add another ATS win. Lay the points with Seattle Sunday afternoon.
