ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) – New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley and left guard Dan Connolly both have left Sunday’s game against Buffalo with injuries.
Ridley hurt his right knee when he was upended by Stephon Gilmore in third quarter. He was helped off the field and later ruled out. Connolly left the game after sustaining a head injury.
Linebacker Jerod Mayo was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury while making a tackle on Anthony Dixon midway through the second quarter.
The play happened on a first-and-10 run that Dixon carried for 3 yards. Mayo made the initial stop on Dixon, but ended up on the bottom of a pile.
