ASHBURN, Va. (AP) – Kirk Cousins says it’s tough dealing with the zigzags that have defined his NFL career to date.
The Washington Redskins quarterback has played in only 11 games in 2 1/4 seasons. He’s been praised as better than Robert Griffin III after some, and derided as nothing better than a career backup after others.
Cousins said Thursday he doesn’t have the perfect answer for handling the abrupt rise and fall of his own stock.
Said Cousins: ”I’m the kind of guy who would like to know my future and like to know how things are going play out. I don’t. So I try not to ride the roller coaster.”
Cousins threw four interceptions in the Redskins’ most recent loss. His job only gets tougher when Washington hosts the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.
