Saints without Kamara, Carr

Saints ruled out RB Alvin Kamara (groin) and QB Derek Carr (hand) for Week 16 against the Packers. The Saints limp towards the end of the regular season in what has developed into a lost year after starting the season with the second most points scored through two games in league history. They will no trudge forward without the remaining two primary offensive pieces after losing Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Taysom Hill to injuries earlier this season. Wide receiver Bub Means was also ruled out by the team with an ankle injury while Marquez Valdes-Scantling is listed as questionable after failing to practice all week.

Alexander questionable for Pack

Packers CB Jaire Alexander (knee) is questionable for Week 16 against the Saints. Alexander has missed the previous four games for the Packers as they continue their push towards the playoffs. Winners of every game over the previous two months against opponents other than the Lions, the Packers would do well to get a couple games with a full supporting cast prior to a potential matchup against the winners of the NFC West in the Wildcard Round.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of New Orleans’s last 5 games

The total has gone OVER in 9 of New Orleans’s last 12 games when playing Green Bay

Green Bay is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games

Green Bay is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games

Saints vs. Packers Prediction:

Take Green Bay. I know the Saints just gave the Commanders a game, but I don’t see how they compete tonight without Kamara. Credit Rattler for having New Orleans a 2-point conversion away from pulling off the upset last week, but that was at home. How much motivation do the Saints have for pulling off the upset tonight in Green Bay? It’s going to be cold, the Packers are rolling and the Saints are just playing out the string. I’ll lay the points.

Saints vs. Packers NFL Prediction: Green Bay Packers -14
