PITTSBURGH (AP) – Don’t expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to take the Cleveland Browns lightly this time around.
The two teams meet in Cleveland on Sunday in a rematch of Pittsburgh’s 30-27 victory in the season opener. Pittsburgh escaped with a last-second field goal after the Browns erased a 24-point halftime deficit. The Steelers have been uneven over the last four weeks and are coming off an unimpressive win over Jacksonville while the Browns are surging after rallying past Tennessee.
Pittsburgh linebacker Lawrence Timmons says the Browns ”are serious” this year but believes the Steelers are improving. Pittsburgh let Cleveland run for 191 yards but have allowed just 161 yards rushing combined in their last three games.
