John Deere Classic Odds
SILVIS, IL (TheSpread) – Though the British Open is next week, some of the top golfers are competing in the John Deere Classic this week. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to oddsmakers from GTBets, Jordan Spieth is heavily favored to win, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Zach Johnson (9/1) and Kevin Kisner (16/1). The John Deere Classic takes place from July 9-12 at TP Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
Spieth won this tournament in 2013. He is currently second in the world rankings and he hasn’t played since winning the U.S. Open, his second major of 2015. Spieth has three wins and three runner-up finishes in 2015.
Johnson won this tournament in 2012. He is currently 29th in the world rankings. He is seeking his first win of the year, but he has finished in the top 10 in two of his last three tournaments.
Kisner is 36th in the world rankings. He has yet to win an event this year, but has finished second three times, including in last week’s Greenbrier Classic. Kisner finished 20th in this tournament a year ago.
