WGC-HSBC Champions Odds
Many of the top golfers in the world gather overseas to compete in the WGC-HSBC Champions. Here is a look at the odds for this week’s tournament.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win, as he has 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Jordan Spieth (15/2), Bubba Watson (14/1) and Dustin Johnson (15/1). The WGC-HSBC Champions takes place Nov. 5-8 from Sheshan International in Shanghai, China.
McIlroy is third in the world rankings. He is coming off a 2015 season that he won three events and he has placed in the top 10 in two of his last four outings. He didn’t play in this event last year.
Spieth is second in the world rankings following five wins in 2015. He is coming off a win in the TOUR Championship. Spieth placed 35th in this event last year.
Watson won this event last year. He is fourth in the world rankings and had one win in the 2015 season. Watson has placed in the top 10 in three of his last four events.
Johnson was the 2013 winner of this tournament. He is eighth in the world rankings and coming off a 2015 season where he picked up one win. Johnson has finished in the top 10 in four of his last six tournaments.
