Jordan Spieth PGA Odds
KOHLER, WI (TheSpread) – Can Jordan Spieth wrap up one of the most impressive years in golf in some time and come out the winner of the PGA Championship?
According to oddsmakers from GTBets, Spieth is the favorite to win this weekend’s major, as he has odds of +550 to win. His over/under for finishing position has been set at 9.5 and his odds to be the top American finisher have been set at +350.
Spieth is having an incredible year, especially in the major championships. He won the Masters and U.S. Open before finishing a shot out of a tiebreaker at the British Open. He can become one of the rare few to win three majors in a single year, with Tiger Woods being the last to do so. However, this tournament hasn’t been kind to him. He has missed the cut in his only two appearances.
Spieth is currently second in the world rankings, but he can make the jump up to the No. 1 spot with a win on Sunday. His 2014 has featured a total of four victories, three second-place finishes and another six top-10 finishes on top of that. He has missed just two cuts on the year and has currently placed in the top 10 in his last five events.
