With the first round of the Masters Championship in the book, the pre-event favorite has shortened his odds even more.

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Jordan Spieth is now the clear favorite to win, as he has +275 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (+500) Henrik Stenson (+1400), Justin Rose (+1400) and Phil Mickelson (+1400). Tiger Woods currently has +2000 odds to win. The Masters Championship continues Friday-Sunday from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Bet on Golf Odds for Thursday, April 5, 2018

Spieth holds the lead after the first round after shooting a 6-under 66 on Thursday. He has a two-stroke lead and that included a bogey on the 18th hole. Spieth had birdied five straight from holes 13-17. He is looking to win his second Masters Championship.

McIlroy finds himself tied for fourth with a handful of others at -3 after shooting a 69. He had just one bogey in his round as he looks to finish the career Grand Slam with his first Masters.

Stenson joins McIlroy at -3 after posting a 69 on Thursday. Stenson was -4 at one point but had two bogies over his final five holes. He is seeking his first Masters Championship.

Rose is tied for 21st right now after shooting an even-par 72. Mickelson is at 2-under after posting a 70 on Thursday.

When it comes to Woods, he battled all Thursday and finished at 1-over with a 73. He had three birdies and four bogeys as he struggled with his approach shots and some of his tee shots.
