PGA Odds: Jimmy Walker a +1350 favorite to win the Sony Open this week

The 2016 Sony Open doesn’t have a lot of big names competing this week, but here is a look at the favorites to win this week’s event in golf.

According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Jimmy Walker is favored to win this week’s event, as he has odds of +1350 to prevail. The other short odds to win are Kevin Kisner (+2100) and Matt Kuchar (+2200). The Sony Open takes place Jan. 14-17 from Waialae Golf Course in Honolulu, HI.

Walker is the two-time defending champion of this tournament. He is currently 25^th in the world rankings and coming off a 10^th-place finish last week. Walker had two wins a year ago and has finished in the top 10 in his last two tournaments.

Kisner is 16^th in the world rankings. He is coming off a ninth-place finish last week and he has finished in the top 10 in his last three events, including one win.

Kuchar is 20^th in the world rankings. He is playing in his first event of 2016. He had two wins last year and has placed in the top 25 in four of his last five events.
