Day finished the tournament at -22 overall to claim the victory and move to No. 1 in the world rankings. He cruised on the weekend, shooting a pair of 69s after he went 61-63 in the first two rounds of the tournament. Daniel Berger came in second place at -16 overall.

According to oddsmakers, Day was the favorite entering the week, as he had 11/2 odds to win the event, which means a wager of $100 on Day to win will pay out an additional $550.

Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy were among the group that finished at -14 overall. Fowler was coming off his win last week. Jordan Spieth showed some improvement after missing the previous two cuts. He finished 13th this week at -11 overall.
