Travelers Championship Odds
A week after the U.S. Open, many of the top golfers in the world will compete in the Travelers Championship. Here’s a look at the odds to win this year’s event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, four golfers are all favored to win with 12/1 odds. Those four golfers are Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy are all listed as favorites. The Travelers Championship takes place June 21-24 from TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
Koepka moved up to fourth in the world rankings by winning his second consecutive U.S. Open this weekend. He has played in just eight tournaments this year and has one win and one runner-up finish.
Spieth is the defending champion of this tournament. He missed the cut at the U.S. Open this past weekend, his second straight missed cut. Out of 15 events this year, Spieth is winless and has four missed cuts. Spieth has fallen back to fifth in the world rankings.
Thomas is second in the world rankings right now. He is coming off a 25th-place finish at the U.S. Open this past weekend. Out of 12 tournaments in 2018, he has five top-10 finishes with one win and no missed cuts. He missed the cut in this tournament last year.
McIlroy is currently seventh in the world rankings. He also missed the cut at the U.S. Open, his fourth missed cut of the year. McIlroy has played in 14 events in 2018 and has one win with two runner-up finishes. He finished 17th in this event a year ago.
