Updated Masters Odds
The 2016 Masters Championship is halfway complete and Friday’s round saw a lot of high numbers put up, but Jordan Spieth remains in the lead.
According to oddsmkers from Bovada.lv, Spieth is now just a narrow favorite to win, as he has +200 odds to win. Other golfers with short odds are Rory McIlroy (+220) and Jason Day (+1200).
Spieth remains in the lead after shooting a 2-over 74 on Friday. He is at -4 for the tournament and in the lead over McIlroy by one shot. Spieth has now led the Masters for six consecutive rounds.
McIlroy got to second on his own after shooting a 1-under 71 on Friday. He was just one of four golfers to shoot under par on the day. He is looking to win his first Masters and complete the career Grand Slam.
Day shot a 1-over 73 on Friday and is now +1 overall for the tournament. He is tied for 15th. Despite being over par, the conditions for the weekend aren’t expected to be much better for the golfers, so if Day can shoot under par at all, he may shoot up the leaderboard.
