Other short odds to win are Brooks Koepka (13/2), Shane Lowry (15/2) and Justin Rose (8/1).The 2019 Open Championship continues Saturday and Sunday from Royal Portrush Golf Club in Portrush, Northern Ireland.
With 36 holes complete, both Lowry and J.B. Holmes (16/1) are tied for the lead at -8 overall. Lowry put up a 67 on Friday while Holmes shot a 68. Both men are seeking their first major championship. Lowry is from Ireland, so has a little bit of a home-crowd backing.
Fleetwood is the betting favorite right now as he sits 1-shot back of the two leaders at -7 overall. He posted a 67 on Friday and is joined by Lee Westwood (14/1) in third place currently. Neither man has won a major championship. Though Fleetwood has struggled in majors this year, he finished in the top 20 in three of the four last year.
Rose is part of three golfers that are tied at -6 overall. He shot a 4-under, 67 on Friday. Rose is looking to win his first Open Championship, but is a former major champion. He was runner-up in this event last year.
Koepka is three shots out of the lead and tied for eighth right now at -5 overall. Koepka shot a 2-under, 69 on Friday. Kopeka has won four majors in his career, all since 2017. He has finished first or second in five of the last six majors.
