After dropping a weekend series in L.A. to the hated Dodgers, the Giants return home tonight to open a new series with another division rival, the Diamondbacks.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Giants are -140 money line favorites over the Diamondbacks, who have odds of +125 to pull off the upset tonight in San Francisco. With Archie Bradley set to face Jake Peavy in the 10:15PM ET matchup, the over/under is sitting at 8 runs.

Arizona recalled Bradley from Triple-A Reno to pitch tonight’s game. The club’s relief corps is beat up after throwing 12 innings during Saturday’s extra-innings loss to the Padres so Bradley will provide an extra arm not only for the rotation, but for the pen as well. The 23-year-old had a 4.05ERA and a 9/5 K/BB ratio over his first 6 2/3 innings for Reno.

The Giants will counter with Jake Peavy, who followed a rough spring with a 10.00 ERA through two regular-season starts. He surrendered six runs and 11 hits in four innings to the Rockies in his last outing, allowing 10 extra-base hits including six doubles.
OUR PICK: Until Peavy irons out his issues, there’s no reason to back the Giants when he’s pitching. What makes the Diamondbacks even more attractive tonight is that the Giants scored just eight runs in their three-game series against the Dodgers this weekend. San Francisco has also lost four out of its last five games so now is the time to jump on Arizona, which took two-of-three in San Diego over the weekend.
