Latest on Oregon…
Freshman wide receiver Dillon Mitchell (knee) returned to practice this week but it’s still uncertain if he’ll suit up versus Nebraska. He suffered a torn meniscus in camp last month and will have to fight for playing time in Oregon’s loaded receiver corps…Heisman candidate Royce Freeman rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries last Saturday in the Ducks’ win over UC Davis. The back is looking for his third consecutive season of at least 1,300 yards rushing.
Latest on Nebraska…
Senior wideout Alonzo Moore (shoulder) is expected to play today versus Oregon. He suffered a shoulder injury in last Saturday’s win over Wyoming but reportedly has made enough progress over these last few days and should be ready to rock against the Ducks. Moore caught six passes for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns through Nebraska’s first two games this season.

OUR PREDICTION: This game should go down to the wire and be a field-goal game either way. The Ducks are 22-5 against the spread in their last 27 road games and are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games coming off a straight up win. The Cornhuskers, meanwhile, are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games versus a team that owns a winning road record and are 17-37-1 ATS in their last 55 games coming off a win of more than 20 points.
