According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 6-point home favorites versus the Cowboys while tonight’s over/under currently sits at 43.5 points. The Seahawks fell to 1-1 on the preseason following their 18-11 loss to the Vikings at home last Thursday night. Trevone Boykin was 10-of-20 for 127 yards with an interception in the loss, while starter Russell Wilson was 5-for-11 with 77 yards with no touchdowns and zero picks. Running back Troymaine Pope scored the only touchdown that Seattle had on the night.

As for the Cowboys, they fell 28-24 to the Rams in their first preseason game and then waxed the Dolphins 41-14 last week. Dak Prescott once again made headlines, completing 12-of-15 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Miami. Alfred Morris also rushed 13 times for 85 yards and a touchdown, while Dez Bryant caught both of his targets for 46 yards and a score.

OUR PICK: Six points is a lot to cover in a preseason game. Even if the Seahawks’ starters outplay the Cowboys’ starters in the first half, it’s doubtful that their backups will outpace Dallas’ backups enough in the second half to pull away. Usually preseason point spreads fall between a pick’em and 3.5 points, so getting six points with a Dallas team that racked up 41 points a week ago seems like a gift.
