Seahawks vs. Rams Prediction
After a dismal performance on Monday night, will the Rams keep things close versus the Seahawks today at 4:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rams are 7-point home underdogs versus the Seahawks while the over/under currently sits at 37.5 points. The total opened at 38.5 before dropping a full point to 37.5, while the side is sitting at Seattle -6 at some books.
SEATTLE: ESPN.com Seahawks reporter Sheil Kapadia believes that Russell Wilson (ankle) will see fewer designed runs and stay in the pocket more against the Rams today. Wilson suffered the ankle injury in the team’s Week 1 win over the Dolphins but was a full participant in practice and wasn’t listed on Seattle’s injury report. He should be full-go to play today.
LOS ANGELES: After he was shut down by the 49ers on Monday night, Todd Gurley said he was “trying to do too much” and wasn’t “patient enough.” Said Gurley: “I’ve just got to stick to the game plan, and just know that everything is going to be fine, and we’re going to break one.” Despite putting together a truly awful performance in the passing game, Case Keenum will one again be under center for the Rams today.

OUR PICK: For one reason or another, the Seahawks have had issues with the Rams over the past couple of years. Seattle lost twice to the Rams last season when the team was still located in St. Louis, and now Wilson is dealing with an ankle injury. The Seahawks should avoid defeat but the Rams will play significantly better than they did in Santa Clara on Monday. Seattle is 0-4 against the spread in its last four road games versus the Rams and is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games overall versus L.A. The underdog has also cashed in nine of the last 12 meetings between these two teams.
