Bills vs. Patriots Prediction

With Jimmy Garoppolo likely back under center, are the Patriots a good bet to cover the spread against the Bills today at 1:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Patriots are 6.5-point favorites versus the Bills after opening as a 7.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 42.5 and has been bet up to 43.5 at most online and Vegas sports books.

Bet Today’s NFL Games

The Bills are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games versus AFC East opponents but are winless at 0-4-1 against the number in their last five road games. They’re also just 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven games played in October and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games when playing in Week 4.

The Patriots have covered in four of their last five games overall, including in all three of their wins this season. They’re also 20-7-2- against the spread in their last 29 home games and are 36-15-3 at the betting window in their last 54 games in October. They’re 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games in Week 4 as well.

OUR PREDICTION: The Bills showed that they still have some life in their upset win over the Cardinals in Buffalo last Sunday. Rex Ryan loves to match himself with Bill Belichick and while the results don’t always go in his favor, there’s little question that Buffalo will be prepared today. The underdog is 3-0-1 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams and so is the road squad.

NFL WEEK 4 PREDICTION: BUFFALO BILLS +6.5
