Pistons a value as a home dog vs. Spurs?
The Pistons are a sizable underdog tonight against one of the best teams in the league in the Spurs. Will Detroit cover when the two teams tip-off at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Pistons are now 7-point home underdogs versus the Spurs after opening as a 6.5-point dog. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 195.5 points after the number opened at 194.
The Spurs are an outstanding 33-6 and are 27-12 against the spread. But the Pistons have been competitive all season. They’re 21-16 straight up, 21-15-1 against the spread, and are 3-1-1 against the number as a home dog this season, winning by an average margin of 1.2 points in those five games.
