No Rondo for Kings – will Mavs cover?
The Mavericks have been profitable bettors this season and should be a solid play tonight when they host the Kings at 8:30PM ET.
After opening as 5-point favorites, Dallas is now a 6.5-point favorite to beat Sacramento according to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag. The total has also moved, going from an opening number of 212 up to 213.5 points.
The Mavericks are 20-14 against the spread this season and are 8-4 against the number as a home favorite. The Kings are 16-18 against the number and will likely be without Rajon Rondo (back) for tonight’s game. That means Darren Collison will be forced into the starting lineup and while he’s average 12.0 points per game as a starter this season, he’s also averaging 5.3 turnovers per contest.
The home team has covered in four of the last five meetings between these two teams while the Kings are just 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 games in Dallas. Take the Mavericks -6.5 and check out more from Spread Winners. You can also purchase picks here.
