White Sox GM Rick Hahn wasn’t done, however. He also sent Adam Eaton to the Washington Nationals in exchange for right-handers Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez and Dane Dunning. Giolito was the top pitching prospect in Washington’s farm system so Hahn got caught the return for Eaton.

2017 SEASON PREDICTION: Considering the White Sox also had plans to trade Jose Quintana this offseason, odds are that Chicago isn’t done making moves. They could be sellers at the trade deadline and if that’s the case, they’ll be relying on even more youngsters in the second half of the season. More specifically, Quintana, Todd Frazier and David Robertson could all be playing in different cities after this year’s deadline, so the under is the smart bet when it comes to the White Sox’ win projection in 2017.
