Will the Texas Rangers waltz on in to an AL West division title this season, or can someone give them a run for their money?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Rangers are currently listed as a -500 favorite to win the AL West. Other odds are the Houston Astros (+350), the Seattle Mariners (+1200), the Los Angeles Angels (+20000) and the Oakland Athletics (+20000).
The Rangers have a 54-36 record on the season and they lead the Astros by 5.5 games in the division. Texas has put up 443 runs on the year, but the concern is their pitching, as they have allowed 427 runs, which is most of any division leader.

The Astros are 48-41 on the season and are having a strong season due to their 28-19 home record. They are currently 2-games under .500 on the road. The Mariners sit at 45-44 on the season, 8.5 games behind Texas. However, the Mariners have the best run differential in the division at +51.
Oakland is 15.5 games out of first right now at 38-51 while the Angels are 37-52 on the season and 16.5 games out of first. Both teams have struggled with pitching, each allowing over 420 runs this season.
