The Red Sox made a huge splash this offseason by trading for White Sox ace Chris Sale to pair up with Rick Porcello and David Price to form the best rotation in the American League, perhaps even in all of baseball. Dustin Pedroia, Jackie Bradley Jr., Hanley Ramirez and Mookie Betts all return for 2017.
The Indians, meanwhile, signed slugger Edwin Encarnacion to give the team more pop in the middle of their order. Ace Corey Kluber, excellent youngster Francisco Lindor, and veteran Jason Kipnis will all be back for Cleveland.
