White Sox walk home winning run

Chicago dropped a crazy game Sunday afternoon at Seattle as it fell 11-10 on a walk-off walk. Jose Ruiz took the loss in relief as he surrendered one earned run on two hits with no strikeouts and two walks over one-third of an inning. Welington Castillo paced the White Sox offense as he finished 1-for-3 with a grand slam and five RBIs. Adam Engel went 1-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs. Eloy Jimenez was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Yoan Moncada ended the contest 3-for-5 with two runs. Reynaldo Lopez takes the mound tonight for Chicago as he enters with a 9-13 record, 5.35 ERA and 1.45 WHIP with 155 strikeouts over 166 2/3 innings pitched.

Twins drop series finale

Minnesota lost 7-5 at Cleveland Sunday afternoon to drop to 91-58 overall and 50-25 on the road. Miguel Sano helped lead the Twins offense as he went 2-for-5 with a solo home run. Eddie Rosario ended the game 3-for-5 with two solo homers. LaMonte Wade Jr. finished 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Fernando Romero took the loss in relief as he surrendered three runs (two earned) with one strikeout and one walk over one-third of an inning. Jose Berrios gets the start tonight as he comes in with a 12-8 record, 3.63 ERA and 1.22 WHIP plus 173 strikeouts over 181 innings pitched.

MLB Betting Trends

Chicago

The White Sox are 3-7 in their last 10 road games. Chicago is 2-8 in its last 10 games versus a team with a winning record.

Minnesota

The Twins are 5-1 in their last six series openers. Minnesota is 1-6 in the last seven Berrios home starts.

Prediction:

This is a tale of two teams going in opposition directions. Berrios was struggling for about a month, but was fantastic his last start and I expect him to find success against this White Sox offense. On the flip side, you have the erratic Lopez who recently mowed down Cleveland but aside from that has been in pretty poor form. I definitely like the Twins here and you can consider the runline bet.
