Public Betting Trends

According to our MLB Public Betting Chart page, 74% of the betting tickets are on the Dodgers to beat the Giants on the moneyline.

Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin

Corey Seager picked up two hits Wednesday in a loss to the Diamondbacks. Seager was the only Dodger to log more than one hit in Wednesday’s defeat. He poked a two-out double to left in the fourth, then added to his haul by beating out an infield single (also with two outs) in the eighth. Seager hasn’t performed up to his usual elite standards this year, though he’s been on a tear recently, batting .333 (15-for-45) with four homers and 14 RBI over his last 12 contests.

San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin

Joe Panik went 0-for-4 on Thursday and is 10-for-54 in his last 12 games. Panik had a nice run initially after taking over the leadoff spot for the Giants, but he’s definitely cooled off of late. Maybe it’s time to give Steven Duggar another turn.

MLB Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Dodgers are 5-1 in their last six road games and 4-1 in their last five games versus a left-handed starter.

San Francisco

Prediction:

The Giants are winless in their last five home games and have dropped four of Pomeranz’s last five starts. The Dodgers, meanwhile,a re 7-3 in their last 10 games versus the Giants, are 12-4 in Kershaw’s last 16 starts versus San Francisco and are 16-5 in his last 21 outings at Oracle Park (or AT&T Park, as it was previously named).
