After being blanked by the Giants in their first two games of the season, the Dodgers rebounded with 5-0 and 9-0 victories over the weekend to earn a series split versus San Francisco. They scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and a few hitters that struggled in their first two games found their stroke. That’s a good sign for tonight as they shift to hitter-friendly Chase Field. The Diamondbacks, meanwhile, are winless at 0-5 in Walker’s last five starts dating back to last year. They’re also 1-5 in his last six home outings. The Dodgers have won 11 of 14 against the rest of the National League West and I believe they’ll make it 12 of 15 after tonight.
