From Rotoworld: Foltynewicz fired seven scoreless innings during Wednesday’s 14-1 whipping of the Phillies. The Braves had it rolling on both sides of the ball tonight. Foltynewicz scattered four hits and two walks while striking out four batters as he watched his teammates pile on the run support. He went seven innings without allowing a run against the Reds in his previous start. His record improves to 4-5 with a 3.48 ERA through 11 starts. He draws a two-start week coming up, facing the Nationals on the road and the Marlins at home.
Strasburg allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits over six innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Dodgers. Kershaw was working with a 1-0 lead up until the sixth inning, when Corey Seager socked a game-tying solo home run and Yasmani Grandal a go-ahead RBI double. He struck out eight and walked one over his six innings of work. The ace right-hander will bring a 2.80 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 89/22 K/BB ratio (80 1/3 innings) into a home start against the Braves next time he takes to the mound.
