From Rotoworld: Greinke pitched well in a no-decision against the Tigers on Tuesday, scattering five hits over 5 2/3 innings. Greinke allowed five runs in the sixth inning, though all of them were unearned. He struck out four and walked two on the night. The 33-year-old hurler is enjoying a resurgent 2017 season, registering a 3.00 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 104/19 K/BB ratio across 90 innings. He’ll draw a difficult assignment his next time out, taking on the Rockies at Coors Field on Tuesday.
Marquez allowed one run in five innings and earned a win against the Pirates on Wednesday. He didn’t pitch deep into the game but gave up just four hits and one walk while notching two strikeouts. He made it through five frames without allowing a run but surrendered a pair of hits to start the sixth inning before being relieved. One of those runners scored when Gregory Polanco grounded into a double play later in the inning. Marquez improved to 5-3 with a 4.19 ERA after 10 starts. He has struck out 51 batters in 53 2/3 innings.

OUR PREDICTION: The Diamondbacks have won 13 of Greinke’s last 19 road starts, are 7-1 in his last eight outings overall, and are 14-3 in his last 17 starts when he pitches in the opening game of a new series. The D-Backs have also won 23 of 31 overall and are 20-6 in their last 26 games coming off a win, but I mostly like Arizona as an underdog with Greinke on the hill. You don’t get value like that often.
