Rockies vs. Giants Prediction
Can bettors expect a low-scoring game between the Rockies and Giants tonight at 10:15PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Giants are -170 on the money line to beat the Rockies, who have odds of +153 to pull off the upset tonight in San Francisco. With Jon Gray set to face Madison Bumgarner in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 6.5 runs.

Gray lasted 5 1/3 innings last Saturday in a no-decision versus the Dodgers. He allowed just one run on four hits while walking three with one strike out. He allowed a solo home run in the fifth inning but was otherwise able to limit the damage, which included 11 groundball outs. He struggled to throw strikes at times and was in the strike zone just 55 percent of the time, but Los Angeles still struggled to square him up.
Bumgarner is still searching for his first win in 2017, even though he has pitched well. He allowed one run in each of his first two innings versus the Padres last week but that was all he allowed. Unfortunately for Bumgarner, the team’s bullpen blew his opportunity to record a win in his first start of the season versus the Diamondbacks, and the offense did nothing in his second outing as he took the loss.
Bet Tonight’s Rockies vs. Giants Game
OUR PICK: Surprisingly, the Rockies offense has been dormant to start the season. They were shutout last night in a 6-0 loss to the Padres and scored just six runs over three games versus San Diego. Do you know what’s not good for a team struggling to score runs? Madison Bumgarner. The Giants haven’t exactly started the season hot offensively either, and will be without Buster Posey again tonight. Even though the total is just 6.5, the under is a good bet tonight.
