From Rotoworld: Archer fanned 11 while allowing two runs over 7 2/3 innings Friday in a victory over the Twins. That’s four games this month with 11 or 12 strikeouts for Archer. He’s had some days this year in which his command has let him down and he hasn’t been very efficient in hi stronger outings, but 4-3 with a 3.61 ERA and 88 strikeouts in 11 starts.
Bibens-Dirkx will start for the Rangers on Wednesday night against the Rays. It will be the first major league start for Bibens-Dirkx, who has registered a 3.97 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 9/3 K/BB ratio in 11 1/3 innings of relief since his callup from Triple-A Round Rock on May 7.
