From Rotoworld: Perdomo finally picked up his first win after allowing three runs in 6 2/3 innings Monday versus the Reds. Perdomo had been 0-3 in 10 starts this year, but he had never been matched up against Bronson Arroyo until tonight. It took just two innings for the Padres to give him seven runs, the most support he’s had all season. Perdomo went on to turn in his seventh quality start. He has a 5.15 ERA.
Nelson allowed four earned runs over 5 2/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Cardinals. Nelson walked two and coughed up nine hits, though he left with the Brewers leading and they survived a comeback attempt by the Cardinals to split a day-night doubleheader at Busch Stadium. Nelson struck out four in the nightcap. He has a 3.67 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 75/19 K/BB ratio in 76 innings (13 starts) this season.
