From Rotoworld: Kuhl took a loss to the Rockies on Wednesday after giving up three runs in five innings. He gave up a solo homer to Ian Desmond in the second inning and was looking good until letting in a pair of runs in the fifth. He surrendered four hits and a walk while fanning three batters in the ballgame. Kuhl falls to 1-6 with a 5.61 ERA after 13 starts.
Davies allowed four runs on nine hits over five innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Cardinals. Davies was actually fortunate to get off as easy as he did, as he just didn’t have it on this night. He’d been trending in the right direction in recent starts, so those rostering Davies in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only leagues have to hope this was just an outlier. Overall, the 24-year-old is 7-3 with a 4.91 ERA and 1.54 WHIP through 14 starts. Another National League Central date, this one with the Pirates, is on tap for Tuesday.
