From Rotoworld: Matz lost to the Nationals after giving up four runs in seven innings Friday. Matz surrendered back-to-back homers to Matt Wieters and Michael Taylor in the third and then a two-run homer to Anthony Rendon in the sixth. Those accounted for all of the damage. He’s still looked pretty good in his two starts back from the DL. It’s anyone’s guess if he’ll stay healthy, but he has some mixed-league value right now.
Ryu held the Reds to two runs over five innings, striking out seven, in a win Saturday. Ryu walked two and allowed eight hits, but he limited the damage en route to his third win of the year. He’s been decent in 12 appearances, including 11 starts, posting a 4.35 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 58/19 K/BB ratio, but is just 3-6 to show for it. He’ll keep working on that record Thursday when the Dodgers face the Mets.
