From Rotoworld: Garza yielded two runs over six innings in a 7-4 victory over the Mets on Friday. Garza gave up five hits (including a solo homer to Neil Walker) and walked two while fanning four batters. The veteran right-handed has been a nice surprise since coming off the disabled list, putting up a 2.66 ERA and 19/5 K/BB ratio over 23 2/3 innings. He has posted three straight quality starts. He’ll try to keep that streak going in a promising matchup against the Padres next week on the road.
Chacin notched the win after giving up three runs over 6 1/3 innings on Friday against the White Sox. Leury Garcia did all of the damage against him, slugging a two-run homer in the third inning and a solo blast in the seventh. Chacin struck out five and walked one in the victory and now stands at 4-3 with a 5.12 ERA through eight starts. While he notched the win at Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday, Chacin is mostly worth using as a matchup play at home in deeper fantasy leagues.
