From Rotoworld: Rays recalled Faria from Triple-A Durham. Faria will return to the Rays’ rotation Tuesday against the Blue Jays with Matt Andriese (groin, hip) now ruled out until August. Faria threw 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball against the White Sox last week in his major league debut and he boasts a 3.07 ERA, 1.125 WHIP, and 84/22 K/BB ratio in 58 2/3 innings this season at Triple-A. Get him rostered and active in standard leagues.
Estrada allowed four earned runs, seven hits and a walk with eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a loss Tuesday at Oakland. Estrada threw 56 of his 90 pitches for strikes, falling to 0-2 with a 10.61 ERA in two outings since flipping the calendar to June. His ERA has risen from 3.15 to 4.04 as a result of the two poor outings. His next scheduled start is set for Tuesday, June 13 against the Rays.
