According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Reds are -128 money line favorites versus the Phillies, who have odds of +118 to pull off the upset in Philadelphia. With Scott Feldman set to face Zach Eflin in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Feldman pitched six innings and allowed one run Monday in a defeat of the Indians. Feldman struck out nine, which, believe it or not, is actually three off his career high (he fanned 12 in a complete-game victory over the Padres in 2013). Still, this was his high game in two years; he hadn’t fanned as many as seven since 2015. Feldman is 3-4 with a 3.99 ERA.
Eflin gave up eight runs and three homers in six innings Tuesday in a loss to the Rockies. Eflin had been serviceable to date because he managed to give up a modest four homers in 36 innings. Seven homers in 42 innings seems more like what should have been expected, given his poor strikeout rate and lack of ability to induce grounder after grounder.
Bet Today’s Reds vs. Phillies Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Reds have won 11 of their last 15 games against the Phillies, who are winless at 0-5 in Eflin’s last five starts. Philadelphia has also dropped 21 of 26 overall, six of eight at home, and five of six home games when facing a right-handed starter. Eflin was terrible in his last outing and Feldman has been serviceable for Cincinnati. Go with the better pitching.
