According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Rays are -138 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +128 to pull off the upset in Tampa. With Tim Adleman set to face Erasmo Ramirez in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs, down from the original number of 9.5.

Latest via Rotoworld: Adleman pitched six innings and allowed two runs in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday. Even though he’s given up 12 homers in 64 innings, Adleman has done solid work for the Reds, going 4-3 with a 4.22 ERA in 11 starts and one relief appearance. We still wouldn’t call him a good bet in NL-only leagues for the rest of the season.
Ramirez was lit up for 10 runs — eight earned — in 4 2/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Tigers. Kevin Cash has the slowest hook in the business, which takes a toll on the ERAs of his starters. Most managers wouldn’t have let Ramirez come back out after he gave up five runs in the fourth inning tonight, but Cash let him give up four more runs, ruining any chances the Rays might have had of coming back. Ramirez’s ERA jumped from 4.20 to 5.17.
