From Rotoworld: Williams wasn’t at his best in a no-decision against the Cubs on Friday, giving up three runs on four hits over five innings of work. Williams punched out three and issued a pair of free passes in the ballgame. All of the damage against him was done in the first inning, where Ian Happ scampered home on a wild pitch and Willson Contreras delivered a two-run double. Williams was able to settle in nicely afterwards, doing enough to keep his team in the game and allow a comeback. He’ll carry a 5.16 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into a tough matchup against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Guerra enters play tonight with a 1-1 record and a 2.84 ERA with a 1.23 WHIP. He pitched six innings against the Padres in his last outing, allowing four runs on two hits. Most of the damage in that game came on two home runs. He also walked four while striking out three in the no-decision.
