PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION

The public is backing the Indians today. Cleveland is currently getting 68 percent of the wagers for this game as the home favorite against the Royals.

KEY INJURIES

Kansas City has nobody new on the injury report for today’s game. Cleveland outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall is doubtful to play today due to a calf injury that forced him out of the last game.

BETTING STRATEGIES

Cleveland won the first game of the series on Friday, 3-2, but the Royals answered with a 1-0 win on Saturday. It was a great pitching duel as Ian Kennedy got the win with six scoreless innings on the mound. He allowed just four hits and had eight strikeouts. Trevor Bauer took the loss despite allowing just one run over eight innings on three hits. He recorded seven strikeouts as well.

The lone run of the game came on a Lucas Duda sole home run in the seventh inning. It was the only extra-base hit for the Royals. Francisco Lindor and Edwin Encarnacion each had two hits to lead the Indians in the loss.

While Cleveland has won six of its last eight against the Royals, five of their last six meetings have been decided by a single run. These two just seem to have competitive games. With that being said I think it is worth taking Kansas City on the run line. While the Royals may not win, they seem to be able to keep things tight despite being a big underdog.

MLB PREDICTIONS: KANSAS CITY ROYALS +1.5 (+100)
