MLB Predictions: Will Twins pull off upset vs. Quintana, White Sox? 6/22/17

White Sox vs. Twins Prediction

Will the Twins pull off the upset versus the White Sox today when the division rivals finish their series at 1:10PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Twins are +110 money line underdogs versus the White Sox, who have odds of -120 to win today in Minnesota. With Jose Quintana set to face Nik Turley in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10 runs.

Latest from Rotoworld: Quintana pitched seven innings of two-run ball Friday in a win over the Blue Jays. It’s Quintana’s first win since May 2, though the White Sox had won three of his seven starts since. Nothing has come easy for Quintana this year, but he’s used to that by now. We still think he’ll be far better from here on in.

Turley was tagged for eight earned runs, nine hits and four walks across 4 2/3 innings in a loss Friday against the Indians. Turley threw just 43 of his 76 pitches for strikes and he looked overmatched for the second time in as many starts since his recall from Triple-A Rochester. He is 0-1 with a 12.46 ERA and an unsightly 2.42 WHIP through 8 2/3 innings. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him returned to the Red Wings after this disaster.

Bet Today’s White Sox vs. Twins Game

OUR PREDICTION: Quintana looked like Quintana in his last start but Chicago has struggled to beat Minnesota when he’s on the mound. The White Sox are 1-5 in Quintana’s last six road starts versus the Twins and are winless at 0-5 in his last five outings overall versus Minnesota. The White Sox have also dropped four straight to the Twins, who have won 11 of their last 14 games when their opponent scores two runs or less in their previous game.

THURSDAY MLB PREDICTION: MINNESOTA TWINS +120
