According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cubs are favored to win the NL Central right now, as they are getting odds of -160 to win. Other odds are the Milwaukee Brewers at +140, the St. Louis Cardinals at +1000, the Pittsburgh Pirates at +2000 and the Cincinnati Reds at +10000.

The Cubs currently sit second in the division at 43-45 on the year. They are 5.5 games out of first place in the NL Central. Many believe Chicago is just in a bit of a World Series funk and will snap out of it in the second half of the season. They have currently put up 399 runs this season while also allowing 399 runs.
The Brewers have the division lead at the break thanks to a 50-41 record. Milwaukee leads the Cubs and Cardinals by 5.5 games. The Brewers have scored 451 runs this season while allowing 406. Their +45 run differential is also best in the division.
The Cardinals join the Cubs at 43-45 at the break with a 43-45 record. St. Louis has scored 402 runs this season while allowing just 389.
The Pirates enter the All-Star Break with a 42-47 record. Pittsburgh is 7 games out of first place in the division right now. They have scored just 378 runs on the season while allowing 403.
The Reds are the longshot due to their 39-49 record. They are 9.5 games behind Milwaukee right now for the division lead. Cincy has scored 424 runs in 2017, but have allowed an NL-worst 463 runs.
