MLB Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The Phillies are 12-2 in their last 14 Tuesday games. Philadelphia is 4-1 in the last five Velasquez starts.
Atlanta
The Braves are 5-0 in their last five series openers. Atlanta is 5-0 in the last five Keuchel home starts.
Prediction:
Keuchel has gotten into a great groove and with the Phillies basically having nothing left to play for (0.1 percent Wild Card chances), it’s really difficult to place a bet on them here. Velasquez is erratic and always seems to run into trouble an inning or two to derail his outing. Go with the home team here as they round into playoff form.
